Program Overview & Core Purpose
Things are stormy—organizationally, culturally, and globally. Leaders today navigate heaps of pressures: fear of missteps, perfectionism, high anxiety, and the expectation to have all the answers in volatile environments while doing more with less.
Anchored Leadership is a one-month group coaching and learning respite designed to shift leaders away from burn-out and transactional "grind culture" into embodied, self-regulated, and deeply relational leadership.
This program recognizes that the immense pressures you feel are not personal failings, but rather natural responses to systemic issues. Over five weeks (including a deliberate mid-program break), you will build self-trust, reconnect your body’s natural wisdom, and develop practical somatic skills with a highly intimate community of peers.
Who It’s For
Thoughtful leaders in nonprofits, social impact organizations, and mission-driven spaces who hold the human side of the work alongside the metrics.
Titles aside—whether you’re an executive director, senior leader, or running a crucial team or program—this is for those carrying real responsibility for others through uncertain times and who know that pushing harder or intellectualizing stress isn't working anymore. It's built for leaders ready to use somatics, nervous system regulation, and embodied wisdom to stay steady and grounded anchors for themselves and their people without burning out, spiraling, or losing their humanity in the process.
Program Components
Four-Part Series
Session 1 - Understanding Your Nervous System:
Mapping your stress physiology, recognizing personal survival patterns, and learning real-time regulation tools.
Session 2 - Self-Regulation Under Fire:
Expanding your window of tolerance, setting healthy boundaries, and staying grounded during organizational turbulence or crisis.
[Holiday Reflection Week — Off for Thanksgiving Break]
An integration and restorative pause to catch your breath, observe your patterns, and rest during the holiday.
Session 3 - Embodied Conflict & Co-Regulation:
Learning how your nervous system sets the tone for your team, and practicing how to navigate pushback, friction, and conflict without defensiveness or collapse.
Session 4 - Sustaining an Anchored System:
Reading team dynamics through a somatic lens and building lasting rituals to lead with humanity without burning out.
One private 1-hour 1:1 coaching session to ensure you can translate these new methods into your specific real-world challenges.
On-Demand Flexibility: This private session can be used at any time during our active 5-week engagement.
Post-Series Runway: It also remains open for up to 5 weeks following our final group session, ensuring you have personal integration support as you go out and apply what you've learned.
Key Outcomes
Nervous System Befriending: Recognize personal triggers and deploy immediate regulation tools to stay steady, clear-headed, and responsive during crises and high-stakes disruption.
Grounded Conflict & Feedback Navigation: Stay present and non-defensive through staff pushback, hard questions, and conflict without shutting down, over-explaining, or collapsing.
Burnout Prevention & Leadership Sustainability: Shift from reactive overwork to sustainable pacing by implementing clear energetic boundaries and somatic check-ins, significantly reducing chronic exhaustion and emotional depletion.
Team Co-Regulation & Climate Setting: Read group dynamics somatically and establish a steady, psychologically safe baseline that reduces team panic and grounds collaboration.
